Music Programming.
This is what I did before computers became popular.
The computer system is a HeathKit H8.
It is a 8080 CPU based system with a staggering 64K of main memory.
2 x 100K capacity 5 1/4 floppy discs drives.
25 line, 80 column text based terminal connected to the RS232 port
Dot Matrix serial printer.
The operating system had been updated from HDOS (Heath Disc Operating System) to
CPM.
The following photos show it with a bread boarding card that has a series of
AY-8910 sound chips.
These are connected to a home build musical keyboard.
I wrote a control app to handle the keyboard I/O and the control of the sound
chips.
